In a highly anticipated return game, the core were licking their wounds from a defeat to mid sutton just weeks previous.

The game was a very tight affair despite the high scoreline .. mid sutton opened the scoring due to a slow start from the core .. they advance 2- 0 in a 5 minute window..

The core fought back with 2 goals from Oscar ruth.. the game ebbed and flowed with both teams evenly matched to the point they were cancelling each other out ..

Kallum graham in nest was having a stormer with a few fine saves.. the defensive team of Theodora B. Sean blake, Eoin O'Brien and Oisin thundstead held their own at difderent intervals throughout the game

But it was sean blake with a Player of the Game performance that caught the eye of all spectators with numerous well timed tackles.

Inchixore headed in at the break 3 - 2 down undeservedly ..but was soon ahead with goals from oisin thunstean and cian milton shortly after the break .

Mid sutton pulled one back and the core again edged ahead with 5 to go.. .

In the dying seconds mid sutton got a penalty and leveled up the tie in a very entertaining 5 - 5 draw..

All parents were very responsive to both teams efforts .. it was truly entertaining.
